Terms of use

Instead of a 40-page contract accepted without reading, a text you can actually read. By using Libera you agree to the following.

1. 1.Account

   Your account is yours; keeping your password safe is your responsibility. You may not use Libera if you are under 13. Accounts impersonating a person or organization are closed.

2. 2.Content and ownership

   You own the content you upload; you grant Libera only the right to host it, show it to viewers, and serve it through open endpoints like the embeddable player and RSS. This permission ends when you delete your content.

3. 3.Responsibility

   You are responsible for the content you upload. You may only upload content you own or have the right to use. Content that violates the community guidelines may be hidden, with the reason communicated to you.

4. 4.Moderation

   The rules and how moderation works are written on the community guidelines page. Every decision has a reason and is visible to the content owner. Hiding is not deletion — your content stays available to you.

5. 5.Service

   Libera is at an early stage and the service is provided 'as is'; uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Significant changes are announced on this page.

6. 6.Termination

   You can delete your account at any time, without giving a reason (Settings → Account). Libera may also close accounts that violate the rules severely or repeatedly, stating its reason.
