Privacy

What we keep on the server

• Account: your email address, username, display name, profile text and image. Needed for your account to work.
• Content: the videos you upload, the comments you write, your like/dislike votes, your subscriptions and playlists. These are the platform itself.
• Moderation: the reports you file and the decisions made about your content (with their reasons).
• Aggregate counters: the view count per video and daily view totals. There is no record of who watched — the counter is never tied to a person.

What we never collect

• Your watch history: which video you watched and for how long is kept on your own device (browser storage). Resume playback and the history page read it from there.
• Behavioral profile: no interest inference, no personalized recommendations, no advertising ID. Everyone sees the same lists.
• Phone number: not required, not collected. (Optional phone verification for the Trusted badge stays in the authentication layer and is never written to our tables.)
• Third-party trackers: no ad networks, no analytics cookies, no social media pixels. Cookies are only for your session and security brakes.
• One exception, named: a short-lived cookie remembers which videos have already been counted for you, so refreshing a page does not inflate anyone's view count. It travels with your requests, expires on its own, and is never written into our tables or joined to your account.

You are in control

• You can download everything kept about you on the server as a single file (JSON) from Settings.
• You can clear the watch data kept on your device from Settings → Privacy.
• You can permanently delete your account from Settings: your videos, comments, votes and profile are deleted. Decisions in the moderation record remain without account information.

Infrastructure

Data is stored on Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Access to data kept on the server is limited by row-level security rules: your own data is yours, public content is everyone's, and the rest is no one's.
